I'm not easily impressed by films and do not give 10/10s out to many, but this film truly is THE best action/thriller i've ever seen and deserves MORE than a 10.
Firstly, this is not a short movie being nearly 2 and a half hours long, but NEVER are you left feeling bored. Literally, from when the movie starts your into the action and never leave it. The action scenes are very good yes, but any movie can have action. Between the action your still left on the edge of your seat, eyes glued to the screen because the plot has such depth and the acting done so brilliantly. Halfway through, I picked up my remote thinking that the movie was coming to a close and happily found out that there was another HOUR left.
The plot was written very well, i won't go into too much detail, but it is VERY dark and bleak and full of twists and turns that will keep you entertained for every second of those 2 and a half hours. The visuals were AMAZING, i actually found myself gasping at the breathtaking beauty of it all. I think the music was put together very well, my favourite example of this is Harvey Dent and Jimmy Gordon's scene near the end, the music created so much tension, i actually found myself not breathing it was just cinema perfection.
Then there is Heath Ledger's legendary performance as The Joker. I actually struggle to find words to describe what a good job he did at portraying this evil, insane and sadistic villain. Its the little things he did like the weird little facial expressions and clicking his tongue when he was talking that made his performance so exceptional. This was his parting gift to us, and let me say he left us on a BIG high. RIP Heath Ledger, your contribution to this epic movie will never be forgotten.
The supporting actors did fantastic jobs as well, veterans like Morgan Freeman and Micheal Caine. Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gary Oldman were all excellent. And i have to name my favourite young actor of all time, he only had a small part in this movie, but still managed to show excellence. His name is Nathan Gamble, this kid really is something else and he brought a little something extra to the already awesome movie.
Batman Begins was a very good film, but this well and truly trumps it in every department. I have said 'awesome' multiple times but there really isn't words powerful enough to describe how good this film is. If you haven't seen it, DON'T rent it, but buy it and you'll be amazed just like i was.
10/10 everyday, Christopher Nolan has his work cut out to make the second sequel better than this...

It looks like Bane has been taking social distancing seriously with his mask long before the outbreak. Always love the fight moves in the dark knight movies.

I especially loved how you used the Because that's what needs to happen monologue at the end of the whole thing.  I never realized that it connected to the whole legend, not just Batman taking Dent's fall!  Very clever.
